Loss of a friend

This weekend I lost a friend of mine. We are not sure how or why she passed but the loss of her can be felt. Liz was a smart, honest generous friend. She was my normal euker partner at gatherings and fun to talk with every time I saw her. We went to school together however in school were never close. It wassnt until years later that my wife and I got to know her better.

Now however this whole thing seems so unreal. I know that I don't fully
accept her death just yet. I am sure that will come this thursday and friday at
her showing and services. I am not really looking forward to accepting the loss.

Comments:
Dear Ryan,
I don't know how I found this but I just wanted to thank you for the kind words you have written here about Liz. Her loss is greatest in my heart and in my life. But what I saw here reminded me how much she touched all of her friends, too. While we still don't know the how's and the why's of her passing, the who's is by far the greatest part of the story. I had 5 wonderful years of the good and the bad with Liz, and even in the bad I never wanted to be anywhere else. I, we will miss her dearly.
Thank You,
Greg
