House/Condo update

It looks like everything is going to work out fine. We ended up finding a play to live in the complex next to our condo. As it turns out the folks building our house also owns the complex next to our condo complex. They have a good deal that allows you to stay until your house is complete and you are ready to move out. So as usual it was a lot of worry only to see things work out for the best. The Lord provides 

We also had our condo inspection. They hit things we figured they would, we hope they won’t cost us too much. The windows in the bedroom need to be resealed. We have a lead on a few people that can help us with that. Also the carpet needs stretched, we knew this was going to be an issue, and we have some leads on getting this taken care of also. Lastly they feel that the faucet in the bath tub is loose. This is one thing we do not really understand since it doesn’t seem loose to us. If anything the flashing around the faucet is a little loose, and that I can fix myself.

The house looks like it’s coming along well. There are a few things in it that we question however. We hope none of them are too big of a deal, and are easy to fix. Stuff like the wrong placement of the master bath toilet and the stairs being uneven. I am going to have to have my dad look at the house prior to dry wall going up to see if he can spot anything that looks wrong. He doesn’t seem to have much confidence in his ability to spot things but as handy as he is, and as good as a carpenter as he is I trust he will see things I do not.

It seems like things are under control, but things are getting more and more hectic. We will be packing a lot these next couple of weeks, we will be getting things repaired and we will be moving. Once we move and close on the condo, all with in a few days of each other, things will calm down for about 2 months, then we need to move again and start over… again.
