Tepet Augustas was born 34 years ago in the City of Lords Crossing on the Blessed Isle. Augustas’s Mother is a scion of Tepet of the Tilis Household . Augustas’s Father was not Exalted but did also serve House Tepet as a Field Commander in the Tepet legions. Augustas was the First of three Children which included a younger Brother (Mallon) and a younger sister (Jizara).Augustas’s parents shared a genuine love for each other and their children. Their family was well respected within House Tepet and the realm proper.

Both Mallon and Augustas followed their father into service in the Legions of House Tepet after graduating with honors from ‘The House of Bells’. Within 7 years Augustas had fused his superior perception and intellect into a General for the House. For half a decade Augustas led the Northern Legions to many victories, unfortunately the brutality of war and the horrors of combat disturbed him greatly, and he requested to have his services be used to serve the Family and the Empire in another manner. August as relinquished his command and his personal weapon ‘The Jade Truth of House Tepet’ to his brother Mallon.

Augustus then became a diplomatic envoy as well as a spy for the Realm. Visiting different areas of creation and seeing new things, meeting new people. He always reported his findings to his superiors in a timely manor. His true love and purpose was as a diplomat, doing everything in his power to avoid military conflict and the destruction that inevitably followed. Augustas was very successful in his endeavors and managed to broker many agreements with different cities and countries to avoid conflict and increase trade. He obtained contacts and friends throughout the Threshold and within the Guild as well.

As it would seem his greatest diplomatic coup would be its undoing.  Augustas took it upon him self to negotiate the surrender of The Blue Night Legion after it had been soundly defeated and captured by the Lookshy militia led by a Solar named Dace. The negotiation spared the lives of the realms soldiers and kept them from slavery, but lost much face for the House Mnemon which had sponsored the Legion.

Upon returning home Augustas was delivered devastating news. His brother had been killed and the bulk of the House’s Legions were destroyed while fighting the barbarians in the North. His weapon was delivered to him with the news, Mallon’s blood still stained the hilt. Soon after he learned that House Mnemon had him removed as a diplomat for the negotiated surrender at Lookshy. Enraged Augustas tried to fight the demotion within the system. But was rebuked at every turn by bureaocratic delays, political enemies and friends of House Mnemon. He succumbed to his fate but his faith in the Realm was forever shaken. Through his thorough investigation he found that forces from with in the Immaculate Order that were connected to House Mnemon may have also played a large role in his fate. This has shaken his beliefs as he feels he can no longer trust the teachings of an Order that is as corrupt as the Realm in these times of need. Why the Order is doing these things are not clear though, more investigation is needed.

Augustas has set out to correct the wrongs he has seen in the Empire. To bring the lies down around them, but to preserve the old ways that have served so many for so long as well. The Empire must be reborn under a new banner, the banner of House Tepet.
